MOORISH Dark Noble Drew Ali Print
MOORISH Heritage Tee
More than a print. More than a shirt. This is history, identity, and remembrance.
The MOORISH Heritage Tee was created as a statement piece—one designed to spark curiosity, inspire conversation, and honor a history that should never be forgotten. Across the chest, the word MOORISH is brought to life through historic imagery, representing identity, heritage, dignity, and a people determined to know themselves beyond the labels placed upon them.
At the center of the design stands one figure intentionally highlighted in red: Noble Drew Ali, founder of the Moorish Science Temple of America. His placement is no accident. Noble Drew Ali is honored for his vision of restoring Moorish nationality to Indigenous Americans who had been misnomered and classified by terms such as Colored, Negro, and Black. His message challenged his people to know their nationality, understand their heritage, uplift themselves, and reclaim an identity that had been lost, hidden, or replaced.
The red highlight serves as a reminder: He is to never be forgotten.
His work represented more than the creation of an organization. It represented a movement toward identity, nationality, self-knowledge, unity, and self-determination—principles that continue to resonate generations later.
The black-and-white historical imagery gives the design a timeless archival feel, while the red accent draws the eye directly to the man whose vision helped awaken a movement.
Finished with the Moorish Habit / MOHAB label on the left sleeve, every detail of this garment has purpose.
